Ingredients
- 1 bag of Pinto beans
- 1 large diced onion
- 2 tsp cumin
- 3-4 crushed garlic
- 3 tbsp salt
- pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Soak beans overnight in water in a crock pot. The next day drain and refill with just enough water to cover the beans.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot
- Cook on high all day.
- Mash the beans with a potato masher just before you're ready to eat them. If they appear too watery you can continue to cook at reduce the liquid further. The more you heat them the thicker they become.
